Tip: real aircraft need speed to climb. Build airspeed on the runway, rotate gently, and trade altitude for speed in a loop.
Sierra tower. Standing by.
For the Spirit, Skyhawk, and Falcon: start the engine, release the parking brake, taxi along the yellow line, and turn left onto Runway 36. Set full throttle. Pull up at rotation speed.
The X-43A begins attached to a carrier. Release it to begin the booster and scramjet sequence. It has no runway departure or pilot cockpit.
Drag the flight view to look around your aircraft. Use the mouse wheel to adjust chase distance. V extends the speed brake. M opens the regional map and H engages the route copilot.
Land on the runway with gear down, wings level, and a gentle descent. Touchdown idles power and brakes automatically. T toggles light speed once airborne; turn it off before landing. Aerobatics is enabled by default: hold S for a loop or A/D for a barrel roll. Release to level out. K toggles gentler flight assist. Gear down plus flaps enables landing handling. Stalls still occur if you lose airspeed. Touch controls are available on phones.
Pick a destination on the map or from the list, then spawn your aircraft. Land there and roll to a stop for a transfer reward.
Fly by hand, or press H in flight for the copilot to follow your route and guide the approach. Manual pitch or bank inputs return control to you.
